2010 @ Olyimprov. Lots of new stuff!

improv in the houseImprov comes to your living room!

It's an improv show that comes to you and your friends.

Yep, we'll actually come to your house and put on a show. All you  have to do is organize 10 or more friends to support a local charity by each donating $10 or more. Since there is absolutely no overhead in this approach, every penny of the donations go to the local Olympia Charity of your choice.

You can schedule Improv in the House in Your House!.

We're now accepting house party benefit bookings for March!

A Day of Vocal Improvisation and Inspiration with Voiceplay founder and practitioner, Ella Topaz. March 13th.

Ella Topaz, founder of Voiceplay, will lead you through simple sound games, call-and-response, and playful exploration of what the voice can do, into easy group exercises where through listening and connecting to others you will be able to create incredible improvised soundscapes and richly rewarding harmonies. This workshop is open to all regardless of experience. Just bring a playful mind and a heart open to possibilities.

March 13th at the Olympia Center from 10:30 to 4:30 To register for this workshop:

New Improv Classes Begin February 22nd

Olyimprov believes that improv practice is good for everyone. The experience of play and co-creation feeds the soul and brings us back to ourselves. Improv's emphasis on generosity, cooperation, trust, and experimentation counterbalances fear, and releases creativity. These benefits are open to all people - at any age, any walk of life, and especially to those who have never done it before!.

Olyimprov's goal is to make the experience and lessons of improv available to as many people as possible and to provide opportunities for people to integrate improvisation into their daily lives.

We believe that improv is a process of personal growth as well as it is pretty much the most fun you can have without getting arrested.
